MAX LE VERRIER

It was in response to his wife Jeanne's interest in La Fontaine's fables that Max Le Verrier created this work, just like the book-ends "The raven and the fox" or "The cobbler and the financier". His model for the Little Red Riding Hood face was his niece Annie, creating by the same time the model CANDEUR.
