Sadi and Envol are two young slender women who refer to Loïe Fuller. Max Le Verrier drew his inspiration from that American dancer who moved away from the traditional and codified dance to perform with her personal style, more free and without any rules nor corset, first step to women’s liberation.
Sadi was displayed at the mascots’ competition organized by the newspapers L’Auto in April 1921.
Max Le verrier was rewarded with the bronze medal diploma for it.
